1 c. all-purpose flour
3 T. corn starch
1 t. salt
1/2 t. paprika
dash nutmeg
1 c. beer
1 T. vegetable oil

Mix dry ingredients and whisk by hand; whisk other until smooth. Fry in peanut oil (high smoking point) in deep fryer.
