1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 t. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. soda
1/2 t. cream of tartar
dash of salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Set dough in refrigerator for a while. Make into balls and press out with the bottom of a glass, dipped in sugar. Bake at 350º for 8 - 10 minutes.
