For meatballs:
2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 pkg. Lipton Onion Soup Mix
3 eggs
For kraut:
1 lb. sauerkraut with juice
1 can whole cranberry jelly
1 12 oz. jar chili sauce
1 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients for meatballs and form into balls. Bake in oven until nicely browned, 20 minutes @ 350, turning once. Mix other ingredients and put in crock pot. Add meatballs. Cook 2-3 hrs. on low. OR
Bake @250º for 2 hours in a Dutch oven.

You can make this recipe easier by buying the frozen prepared meatballs in the bag. Just thaw them and add to kraut. This is a great recipe to make for Super Bowl Sunday or any get together.
