12 T. sugar
5 T. flour

Filling:
250 g. sugar
8 oz. water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 400 degrees. Use a long 15 x 10 x 1-inch cookie sheet.

Separate the yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites into peaks. Reserve the five yolks. Mix sugar with yolks until fluffy, using a wooden spoon.
Add flour, mix the flour until well blended into the egg mixture ( do not over mix), then fold in the egg whites in peaks. Pour into pan, cook for 10 minutes.
When done, remove from oven; set aside.

Filling:
In a pot mix sugar and water; let simmer until sugar and water becomes caramelized, mixing constantly so as not to stick to pan. When light brown in color, remove from stove and rapidly beat in 5 egg yolks. Do not let eggs cook. Spread filling on top of the cooled cake and roll. Once rolled and cut, the center should appear to be uncooked.
