24 whole mushrooms, stemmed and cleaned
baked ham, finely chopped or ham steak, cooked and finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. bell pepper, finely chopped
3 pods garlic, minced or pressed
4-6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Ritz crackers to taste, crushed
mushroom stems, finely chopped
1 to 2 sticks butter, may need more

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' vegetable in butter until clear. Add ham, saute' about 5 minutes. Add bacon and crackers. Saute' 5 to 10 minutes. Add more butter if necessary to make moist. Bake with pads of butter on each mushroom at 350º for about 15 minutes or until done. Serves 6 to 8.
