1 c. shortening
1 c sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 c. lukewarm water
2 packages yeast
2 eggs
6 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening and sugar in boiling water. Cool. Mix yeast in lukewarm water. Cool. Mix both with flour. Beat the eggs and stir into flour and yeast mixture. Leave overnight in refrigerator. Roll out on floured surface. Cut out and dip in melted butter. Let rise 2 hours before baking. Bake at 400º until browned. (12-15 minutes)
