1 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs slightly beaten
3 tbsp butter or margarine
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine syrup, sugar and salt in sauce pan, bring to a boil over high heat stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil exactly 2 minutes. Pour very slowly over beaten eggs beating constantly until mixed. Add vanilla and pecans pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 350º for 40-45 minutes.
