3 cans whole green beans, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup wine vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
1/2 tsp. paprika
Garlic, crushed
3 or 4 green onions, chopped
1 small can whole pimento, chopped in strips
2 tsp. green peppers, minced
2 tsp. red peppers, minced
1 large can of small, whole mushrooms

Place green beans in a casserole dish. In a saucepan, bring next nine ingredients to a boil then pour over green beans. Add remaining ingredients, toss and marinate for 24 hours.

This was a favorite Christmas dinner salad which was always in the fridge for "pick up". It looks pretty in a crystal bowl. Can be made a day ahead and gets better daily for a week. Keep refrigerated.
