"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Mix flour and water and set aside. Heat butter in large, heavy skillet. Cut steak into strips and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Brown them on both sides. Remove the steak from the pan. Add the cream of mushroom soup, french onion soup, 1 soup can of water, and flour mixture. Simmer and stir constantly until thickened. If too thick, slowly add a little bit of water. Put the steak back into the pan. Cook over low heat for about 45 minutes, covered. Adjust seasoning to taste, adding salt and pepper, as needed.
