4 cups flour
1 Tbs. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups buttermilk

Topping:

2/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup flour
3 Tbs. butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
1. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
2. Stir flour, baking powder and baking soda together.
3. Beat eggs until pale yellow. Add sugar, butter and vanilla.
4. Beat until creamy and add dry ingredients and buttermilk 1/2 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Spoon into prepared pans.
5. Make topping. Combine topping ingredients and stir with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over the top of the batter.
6. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or til done.
