5 c. brown sugar
7 eggs
2 1/2 c. margarine
3 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2. tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
10 c. all purpose flour
2 c. nuts (pecans are the best)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375-400º. Mix margarine and brown sugar. Add eggs and stir. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mix. Add nuts and stir. Shape into 3 logs on wax paper. Roll and fold ends under and refrigerate overnight. Slice into 1/4 inch cookies and bake on greased cookie sheets for 12-13 minutes.

This makes and extremely large batch of cookies. You can halve the recipe or freeze any remaining dough you don't use.
