1 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
red or green food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Mix margarine and sugar. Add egg and extract and stir. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Add food coloring to your desired color. Place dough in cookie press. Form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake until set but not brown, 6-9 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheets to cool.
