1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 1/2 c. Bisquick Mix
8 oz. soft cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 c. jam (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1-2 tsp milk

Dissolve yeast in water, add sugar and egg. Beat in Bisquick. Knead well and roll out on floured board into oval shape to fit greased cookie sheet. Combine filling of cream cheese, lemon juice, and sugar. Spread evenly over center of dough. Spread jam over cream cheese mixture. Cut long edges of dough into strips. Fold strips alternately into center to make a braid. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes, until brown. Mix powdered sugar and milk together and drizzle over danish.
