Ingredients:  
3 sticks oleo
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. walnuts ( may sub. pecans)
1 1/2 tsp walnut or vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Mix in flour, soda and buttermilk alternately.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Bake at 350 for about 1 hr.
Check after about 45 min.
Do NOT grease and flour pan.
