Directions:
Mix 1
2c. Pretzels crushed ( not fine)
¾ c melted margarine (1 ½ sticks)
3 tsp sugar

Mix and spread in 9 x13 pan. Bake 8 minutes at 350.

Mix following separately:

Mix 2
1 - 8oz pkg. cream cheese (original)
1 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip

Mix and spread over Mix 1

Mix 3
2 sm boxes strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz) boxes of frozen strawberries (probably won’t find 10 oz - just adjust to total of 20oz)

Mix well and let stand 10 minutes in refrigerator. Pour over Mix 2.
Refrigerate until firm (overnight) and serve.

Hints I’ve found work best for me:
Cream cheese mixes best when close to room temp. The Cool Whip should be thawed but not warm

Be sure and wait for Mix 1 to cool completely before topping with Mix 2.

RE: strawberries. They must be thawed enough to where they will break apart but still are partially frozen in chunks when placed in refrigerator. Upon removal from refrigerator, break up any remaining chunks before pouring on.
