2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 cup water (about)

Filling:
3 cups rinsed sauerkraut
4 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, diced
or
Dry curd cottage cheese
salt and pepper

chives

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and salt. Add egg and enough water to make a medium soft dough. Knead on a floured board until smooth. Divide dough into 2 parts. Cover and let stand 10 minutes. Roll thin on a floured board. Next, put filling in, seal edges. Drop a few at time into water (salted) 3 to 4 minutes. Drain in a colander.
