1/2 cup melted Crisco,
1/2 cup sugar,
1/2 cup molasses,
1 egg,
1/2 cup sour or butter milk,
2 1/2 cup sifted flour,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1/2 teaspoon ginger,
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon,
1/2 teaspoon cloves,
1 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Crisco, sugar, molasses
add egg beat till light and fluffy
Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to the molasses mixture
Drop on cookie sheet
bake at 350º for approximate 15 minutes
