5 cups water
4 cups sugar, a bit less
13 heaping teaspoons instant coffee
1 quart vodka
4 t. vanilla

Directions:
Mix together water, sugar, and coffee. Simmer, but do not boil for one hour. Cool. Add vodka and vanilla. Pour into jars and set uncapped for one week.
