Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 to 2 c. butter, melted
3 lbs. ground walnuts
1 c. sugar
1 lb. Phyllo dough
1 1/2 c. honey
1 1/2 c. water
3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Spread some melted butter on bottom of a deep cookie sheet. Place approximately 6 sheets of Phyllo dough in bottom of the pan (sprinkling melted butter on each piece of dough) into the pan.

2. Combine the ground nuts with 1 c. sugar and sprinkle about 5 T. of the walnuts on each layer of the dough, continuing to place a sheet of dough, melted butter & walnuts on each sheet, until all except 6 sheets of Phyllo dough are used.

3. On the last 6 sheets of Phyllo, drizzle butter on each sheet and place on top. Cut the baklava into diagonal shapes before placing in the oven. Put in 325ºF oven & bake about 45 minutes to 1 hour (until slightly brown on top).

4. For syrup, combine the honey, water, 3 c. sugar, cinnamon & 1 lemon cut into 4 pieces in a large pot. Bring to a boil; lower heat to simmer. Leave it on simmer until Baklava is finished baking.

5. When Baklava is done, turn off syrup & remove lemon quarters. Immediately pour hot syrup on the baklava, distributing evenly. Serve when cooled.
