6 medium white onions
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil or butter
1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
Fine bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
1. Remove slice from each raw onion top. Parboil until nearly tender. Drain and remove centers.

2. Chop scooped out onion and combine with filling; add seasoning and oil.

3. Fill onion cups. Place filled onions in a baking dish; cover tops with fine bread crumbs. Add milk in bottom of dish and bake at 400ºF until tender.
