3 cups (18oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 14oz. can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
Dash of salt
1/2 to 1 cups chopped nuts (optional)
1 1/2 tsps. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Line 8 or 9 inch square pan with foil, butter foil and set aside.

In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chips with the sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly in prepared pan.

Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.

Change out the chocolate for butterscotch chips or peanut butter for a whole new type. My mom makes this whenever she goes to any function and always brings home an empty pan.
