Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Meat Sauce
2 lbs. Hamburg
2 lbs. Italian Sausage 1 Hot and 1 Sweet
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 large can tomato paste
2 jars of Spaghetti Sauce - whichever you like
Sauce should be on the thick side
1 Box of lasagna noodles
1 lb American cheese
1 package of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 package of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
1 large container of Cottage Cheese (Small Curd)
1 large and 1 small package of Cream Cheese at room temperature
Sliced Pepperoni

Directions:
Directions:
Take the casings off the sausage - easier to do when they are frozen or semi frozen. Break up and brown. Drain grease. Add Hamburg. Drain again. Add the crushed tomato, tomato paste and spaghetti sauce. Spice to taste. Simmer at least 1 1/2 hrs. Sometimes easier to make sauce the day before. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the directions. Don't overcook. Mix the cottage cheese and the cream cheese together. Pam the bottom of a lasagna pan. Lay lasagna noodles to cover bottom. Spread meat sauce over noodles. Add pepperoni, cheese mixture, Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the 2 shredded cheeses next. Place a layer of American cheese over all. Repeat next layer the same starting with the noodles. Use all the cottage cheese mixture on the first and second layers. Top with the last (3rd) layer of noodles. Top with meat sauce, pepperoni, and whatever shredded cheese you have left. Bake foil covered for about 40 minutes. Take the foil off for the last 20 minutes. Even better the next day!
