1/2 c butter or margarine softened
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
2 c all purpose flour
1 c buttermilk
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 c chopped toffee candy pieces
1/4 c of pecans
Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl blend butter, both sugars and flour. Set aside 1/2 cup. To the remaining butter mixture add buttermilk, egg and baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased 13X9 pan
Combine chopped candy and pecan into reserved butter mixture and sprinkle over cake.
Bake at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
