Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 T butter
1/3 cup hot water
1 cup sugar
2 T corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate, over not in, hot water; add butter; Stir and blend well then add hot water. Stir well and add sugar and corn syrup. Permit sauce to boil readily though not threateningly over direct heat. Do not stir. For a normal sauce, boil 5 minutes. For a sauce which will thicken over ice cream, boil 8 minutes. This is very thick and can be reheated in the microwave.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Be really careful about boiling too vigorously or too long. The sauce will harden and you will loose your teeth. (I must keep this favorite in the refrigerator at all times or I will be evicted.)
