8 slices white bread - crusts trimmed
1 lb. sausage (mild) cooked & drained
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
8 large eggs
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
4 c. milk
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly spray a 13 x 9 glass pan.
Place trimmed bread in pan and layer in sausage and cheese.
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 325º. Bake uncovered for 60 min. or until done.

Delicious served with coffee cakes and fruit. Good anytime, but it's our traditional Christmas morning casserole. The cook doesn't miss the festivities because it's prepared ahead. You can assemble it and not refrigerate overnight and it still turn out well.
