1/4 lb butter
1/2 c Wesson oil
3 T cocoa
1 c water
2 c sugar
2 c flour
1/2 c buttermilk
2 eggs
1 t baking soda
1 t cinnamon (optional)
1 t vanilla

Icing:
1/4 lb butter
2 1/2 T cocoa
2 T milk
1 lb box of powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
1 c coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter with shortening, cocoa and water in
a sauce pan. Bring to boil and stir. Sift flour and
sugar in a large bowl. Pour liquid mix over the flour
and beat until smooth. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda,
vanilla and cinnamon. Mix well. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Icing:
Melt butter, cocoa and milk. Do not boil. Stir in
the powdered sugar and nuts until smooth. While
icing is hot, pour over cake still in baking pan as
soon as it is removed from the oven.
