3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar molasses and egg till light and fluffy. Sift flour, soda , salt and spices all together and add to creamed mixture to form a soft dough. Shape in 1 inch balls and roll in multicoloured cake decorations instead of plain sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes
