1 lb penne rigatoni or whole wheat pasta, 1/4 lb bacon, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 chopped onion, 1 tsp. each of minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, bay leaf, pepper and salt, 1 can kidney beans, 1/2 c. white wine vinegar, 2 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. all purpose flour, 2 c. milk,nutmeg, 1/4 c. Parmesan, 1/4 c. blue cheese crumbles

Cook pasta in water with olive oil. Brown bacon and crumble. Saute onions, garlic, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Then add beans (drained). Add White wine vinegar, add bacon. In a saucepan melt butter add flour. Coo 1 minute. Add milk. Stir in cheese. Mix all ingredients. Serve warm.
