1 lb. Small pea beans
1/2 c. Dark molasses
1/2 c. Dark brown sugar
1 tsp. Dry mustard
1 small piece salt pork or 2-3 slices bacon
1 med. onion, quartered

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and soak beans ovenight in cold water.
In morning, drain water. Then add more water and boil until skin starts to split when blown on.
Drain beans, but save water.
Place beans in bean pot, add all ingredients and mix well. Add reserved water to cover beans.
Cover and bake at 350º
Check and stir often, add water if needed.
Bake about 4-5 hours
