Ham (raw) 8-10 lbs
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper
whole cloves
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 - 2 c. Whiskey (Makers Mark)
1 Pepsi

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare ham - slice the top of the ham about 1/2 inch deep going all the way down the ham, then make slices in opposite direction about 1/2 inch deep. When done it will look like a grid.
Combine salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and rub into the ham. Insert cloves (throughout the fatty side of ham), pack the brown sugar all over. Place in a deep roasting pan. Pour the Pepsi and the whiskey into the roaster. Bake at 325º for one hour, and baste. Continue basting every 20 mins until done.
