1 gal sliced cucumbers
1 gal water
1 c lime
2 pints vinegar
6 cups sugar
2 tsp salt (canning salt not iodized)
1 T pickling spice tied in a cloth

Directions:
Directions:
Soak cucumbers in water and lime for 24 hours. Drain water off and soak in clean water for 2 hours. Drain water off and add vinegar, sugar, salt and spice bag. Simmer 1 ½ hours then place in sterilized
jars and seal.
