Directions:
Combine 1 Cup flour, 1 Tbs. sugar, 1 ½ tsp. salt and 1 pkg. of dry yeast in large bowl. Stir well. Add 2 Tbs. softened butter and 1 Cup 2 Tbs. very hot tap water. Beat at medium speed with mixer for 2 minutes. Add ½ cup more flour. Beat at high speed for 1 minute. Stir in remaining flour (2 cups). Use just enough so that the dough leaves sides of bowl after mixing. Turn dough out on floured board. Knead for 10 minutes. Leave dough covered with plastic wrap and towel for 25 minutes. Remove towel and wrap and punch down once. Roll dough to an 8 by 12 inch rectangle of uniform thickness. Roll & pinch ends and sides. Place seam down in greased loaf pan. Over lightly with plastic wrap. Put in refrigerator for 2-24 hours. When ready to bake, remove from oven and uncover for 10 minutes. Bake loaf at 400 degrees for 40 minutes (until golden brown.) Remove from pan at once. Cool on rack.
