1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 cup very warm water
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup very warm water
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp. salt
4 1/2 to 5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast and 1/4 cup warm water; let stand for about 5 minutes. Mix sugar, eggs, 1 cup warm water, oil, salt, and yeast mixture. Mix in flour. Cover bowl with waxed paper. Let stand 8 hours or overnight. Punch down and divide into 4 parts and roll into four circles about 1/8 inch thick. Cut like pie; brush with melted butter and roll crescent style. Put on greased cookie sheet and let rise for 5 to 6 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

When my friend, Karen Johnson, gave this recipe to me and assured me it would not fail, I really did not believe her, because I had never made good rolls. I told Lisa and Pollianne that I had a big surprise for them for Christmas. It was as big of a surprise for me as for them when they arrived for Christmas dinner and the rolls had RISEN!!!
