1 1/2 lbs. chuck roast, cut into 2 in. pieces
1 1/2 lbs. pork roast, cut into 2 in. pieces
3 med. onions, diced fine
1 green bell pepper, diced fine
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. white vinegar
3 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can tomato paste plus pesto

Mix all ingredients except tomato paste and buns in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 8-10 hours. Remove meat with slotted spoon and shred with two forks. Return meat to juices and stir in tomato paste. Cook until warm, about 30 minutes. Serve on buns. *Makes enough to feed a large family or to take to a pot luck.
