Janice's Neiman-Marcus Cookies Recipe

2 c butter
2 c sugar
2 c brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 c flour (not self-rising)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
5 c oatmeal (blended to fine powder in blender/ food processor)
2 tsp baking powder
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 8 oz Hershey's bar, grated
3 c chopped nuts

Cream butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together with flour, salt, oatmeal, baking powder, & soda. Add chocolate chips, candy bar, & nuts. Roll into balls & place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 6 minutes at 375.
Makes 112 cookies (recipe can be halved)
Note: Don't cook longer than 6 minutes.
