5 lb Lutefisk (usually frozen)
1/4 - 1/2 c salt
1 c melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Soak frozen lutefisk in cold water 2-3 hours; changing water several times. Set oven at 300º and place one layer of lutefisk in porcelain roaster, sprinkle with 1/2 of salt; add second layer of lutefisk and remaining salt. Bake for about 30 minutes until fish flakes easily. Serve with melted butter.
