½ lb (2 sticks) softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
3 cups Instant Quaker Oats
1 bag (12oz) Semi-Sweet Nestle Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Beat together butter and sugars until blended well (creamy). Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Blend well. Slowly blend all ingredients together. Add oats and chocolate chips to the mixture.

Drop a tablespoon size of batter onto the cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Cool for a few minutes. Enjoy!

Makes about 4 dozen depending on cookie size
