2 (8 oz) packages Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 box vanilla wafers
1 (16-oz.) cherry pie filling
3 dozen midget foil baking cups (2-in.)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Arrange foil cups on cookie sheet and place vanilla wafer, round side down, in each cup. Add cream cheese mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool. Put cherry filling on top. Can be frozen.

These were my mom's Christmas specialty. Can also be fun for Fourth of July with cherry pie filling, Cool Whip and blueberry pie filling for toppings. Fresh fruits also an option.
