2 cups of brown sugar
1 cup of shortening oleo
2 eggs
1 cup of sour milk
4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of soda
2 teaspoons of vanilla
11/2 teaspoons of salt
1 cup of sour milk

Directions:

cream oil sugars and eggs mix the dry ingredients add to the creamed mixture and then add the sour cream drop by teaspoonfuls on to a greased cookie sheet bake at 350 oven when cool frost with the butterscotch frosting of 2 tablespoons of milk 1/4 cup of butter 1 tablespoon of light corn syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup powdered sugar heat the milk and sugars togather then add the powdered sugar cool and frost cookies
