5-6 cups Flour
2 pkgs (4 1/2 tsp) Yeast
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt
2 Tbs Sugar
1/2 cup Water
2 cups Milk
1/2 cup Finely shredded Asiago, Parmesan, and/or Romano cheeses
1/2 tsp Fresh or dried thyme
1/4 tsp Ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp Fresh or dried oregano
1/4 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp Fresh or dried parsley
1/2 tsp Fresh or dried basil
1/4 tsp Fresh or dried rosemary

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 3 cups of flour with yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda. Add in cheese and herbs.

Heat liquids until very warm. Add to dry mixture. Mix well. Stir in enough more flour to make batter stiff.

Let the covered dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Punch down and shape the dough into two oval loaves. Cover and allow to rise again for 30-40 minutes.

Sprinkle with reserved parsley and cheeses. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
