5-6 cups Flour
2 pkgs (4 1/2 tsp) Yeast
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt
3 Tbs Sugar
1/2 cup Water
2 cups Milk
Cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 3 cups of flour with yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda.

Heat liquids until very warm. Add to dry mixture. Mix well. Stir in enough more flour to make batter stiff.

Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Grease two 8 1/2” x 4 1/2” pans. Sprinkle with cornmeal.

Punch down and spoon the dough into the pans. Sprinkle with cornmeal and allow to rise again for 30 minutes

Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from bread pans immediately.
