Pierogi Dough Recipe

Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 cups sifted flour
1 egg
½ cup luke warm water
1 tsp salt
2 tbs melted butter

Mix all ingredients together lightly & knead in bowl
Let it rest for ½ hour covered
Knead dough on floured board & roll out 1/8”
Cut out circles
Fill with favorite filling pressing edges together

Bring water to boil. Drop pierogi gently into boiling water
When pierogi come to the top cut down to a slow boil
Boil for 10 minutes
Rinse lightly with cold water
Pour with butter serve warm
