2 cups stone ground flour
1 cup white flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon. baking powder
1/3 cup oatmeal
4 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, soda, baking powder and oatmeal together. Cut in butter. Mix and fold with fingers ( like you would a pie crust). Make a "well" in the middle of the dough and add the buttermilk. The dough should be thoroughly wet. Knead right in bowl. Put into lightly greased bread tin and cut an "X" in the bread. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
