1-pkg. 4-6 boneless chicken breasts
11/2tsp. salt 1 small onion diced
2 stalks celery chopped 1-lg.can chicken broth
5C water 1-can cream of chicken soup
Dumplings- 2C-all purpose flour 1Tbsp. baking
powder 1/2tsp salt 1C&2Tbsps-milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a large soup pot place chicken broth,water,celery
onion and salt bring to a boil and add chicken.
Boil for 20 minutes. Remove chicken from pot and
put on cutting board to cool. Skim out 1/2 the onion
and celery if you want or leave it all in. Meanwhile in a medium bowl mix together dumpling ingredients cover and let stand 10 minutes. Then
roll the dough out with flour to about 1/2inch
thick and cut dumplings into 1/2 inch pieces and
drop a few at a time into the boiling broth and cook
until they reduce in size. Then cut up small pieces
and add back to pot then add the can of cream of
chicken soup and simmer for 20 minutes. If soup
is still to thin add water and flour and thicken like
gravy
