2 c light corn syrup
2 c brown sugar (firmly packed)
4 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Combine corn syrup and brown sugar in heavy 4 quart Dutch oven. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Continue cooking until 300º on candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda. Pour into greased 13X9X2 inch baking pan. Cool and break into pieces.
