2 medium-large Onions (sliced thin) 2 medium-large egg plants, sliced med.-thin
2 lbs. ground chuck, lightly browned and drained with salt and pepper to taste
2 cans Campbell’s Tomato soup cooking oil
all purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper both sides of egg plant slices and dip in all purpose flour. Saute over medium heat in vegetable oil until golden brown, set aside. In a casserole dish, layer as follows:
1st layer........Egg plant
2nd layer........Meat
3rd layer.........Onion
4th layer.........cover lightly with tomato soup, then repeat layers, ending the last layer with Egg plant & cover with tomato soup.
Preheat over to 350 degrees and cook for l hour....Cook with the casserole top
on for the first half and with the top off, for the last half hour.....ENJOY!
