1 cup rice (brown or white)
1 onion, chopped
1 can mushrooms
2 T. onion soup mix
1 t. salt
4 T. oil
2 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ing. in a 9 x 13 pan. Put oil on top and add boiling water last. Cover pan very well. Bake for 50 min. @ 350. Uncover and bake for another 10 min.

This is a very easy side dish that goes with chicken, meat or fish. You can add cubed red and green peppers if you like.
