"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Arrange raw stew meat/beef cubes in crock pot. Cut up vegetables and layer over the meat in this order: potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery. Mix 8 oz can of tomato sauce with 1 can of water and 1 teaspoon sugar. Pour this mixture over the meat and vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste. Scatter 2 teaspoon of quick tapioca over the top. Cook 5 to 6 hours in crock pot, stirring at least twice during that time.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
If using baby carrots, just place them in the crock pot whole. I usually have the crock pot on high for the first 4 hours, then turn it down to low.
