Family pack thighs, wings or tenders
Pickling spice
Low sodium soy sauce or *Bragg’s amino acid (Note: Braggs seems to have a saltier flavor).
3 bay leaves
½ red or yellow Onion sliced thinly
3 tbsp. Apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
¾ tbsp. sugar, preferably sugar in the raw
1 cup water or chicken stock
3 Garlic Cloves
S & P to taste

Warm pot or large/deep pan on medium-medium high heat to warm pan, add EV Olive oil, add chicken, salt and pepper while browning chicken; flip chicken occasionally to ensure it brows evenly, add onions and garlic, soy sauce sparingly as you go for color and flavor, bay leaves, pickling spice, apple cider vinegar, raw brown sugar Once evenly browned, add chicken broth or water and *soy sauce. Let chicken simmer in juice for a half hour to an hour or so, on low heat. Serve with a pot of brown rice, broccoli or sautéed asparagus with Bragg’s with garlic, baby sweet peppers and red onions… What!

For a little fat burning effort, add a little cayenne pepper to your sautéed veggies!
