2 10-oz. pkgs. frozen broccoli or one or two bunches fresh, cooked
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and halved or cut-up
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. mayonnaise
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/4 tsp. curry powder
1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. bread crumbs
1/2 stick butter or margarine

Spray or grease a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. Cook broccoli according to package directions. Put broccoli in the dish, then chicken. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix mayonnaise, soup, curry powder and cheese. Pour over top of chicken. Spread bread crumbs on top and dot with butter. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes until hot and bubbly.

If using fresh broccoli, remove the stems and use the florets only. Steam until done, but still firm and not soggy. An eighth of a teaspoon of turmeric can be used instead of curry.
